Domestic Abuse is the physical, emotional, sexual or mental abuse of one person by another with whom you have or have had an intimate relationship with.
Domestic Abuse can also include family members.
Domestic Abuse is rarely a one off event, it tends to escalate in frequency and severity over time and can incorporate a range of behaviour.
Male victims of abuse are entitled to the same support and action as any female victim. All victims are entitled to support and assistance.
