Powerchair football is played in sports competition powered wheelchairs with bumpers on the front to ‘kick’ the ball with. It is a dynamic team sport for physically disabled young people and is played in a basketball-sized court.
We welcome anyone who would like to try out the sport or would like to come to one of our sessions to see for themselves what the sport entails. We run training sessions on alternate Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm and weekly Thursday sessions from 5pm to7pm at Medway Park Leisure Centre, Gillingham. Age range is from 10 years to 30 years. |
