The function of the Fostering Team is to maintain support and develop an effective and efficient community based carer resource able to respond to the needs of children and young people within the Medway area. This includes the recruitment of new carers, assessment and registration of new carers, provision of preparation courses and on-going carer training, supervision and support of carers and matching children and young people into placements.
