| Service Description: | Forward2Employment is an organisation which provides supported internships for students aged 16 – 24 who have an EHCP.
We firmly believe that every young person in Medway deserves to be given the opportunity to fulfil their potential and have a place within the community. Supported Internships are a year-long programme that help young people with a special educational need or disability to gain meaningful employment. The young person spends the majority of their time in a work place with the opportunity to also work to employment related qualifications. The young person is helped for the year by their job coach who works with the young person, their family and the employer to ensure that the work placement is a success. The aim is for the intern to gain paid employment by the end of the year.
Forward2Employment has an excellent track record in finding suitable employment for their interns.
