| Service Description: | We run a fun, inclusive and supportive football programme designed specifically for children aged 5–11 with SEND and additional learning needs. Our sessions provide a friendly, safe and welcoming environment where every child is encouraged to participate at their own pace, build confidence and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Through structured yet enjoyable activities, children are supported to develop their football skills, improve coordination and teamwork, and, most importantly, form new friendships in a positive and pressure-free setting. Our programme focuses on enjoyment, inclusion and personal development, helping each child take their first steps into football while nurturing social skills, self-esteem and a lifelong love of the game.
We also have a current U13 team that competes in the Kent Disability League for players 11-13 and adults’ teams for 16+ also in the Kent Disability League.
Anchorians Football Club is committed to providing an inclusive, safe and welcoming football environment for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We work to remove barriers to participation, promote equality of opportunity and ensure every player is treated with dignity and respect.
