Service Description:
We offer participation opportunities for Boys, Girls, Ladies, Men’s & Special Needs (adults) from 3 years old- upwards If you want to come along and FUN no matter your ability.

Anchorians was the first and only football club in the Medway Towns to be awarded the Football Association’s Charter Standard Community Status. Now the club is a 3-star FA Accredited club, which is the highest achievement in the new Accreditation Scheme. The FA Accreditation Scheme is awarded to those clubs that have a pathway from youth to adult for males, females, and disability, whilst setting a high-level standard of coaching, administration and child protection working with young people and is a benchmark for quality; it will improve the playing experience for all.

In August 2018, the club was awarded as the FA National Charter Standard Club of the Year, an award it received on the pitch from Sir Geoff Hurst at the FA Community Shield at Wembley stadium. Alongside this amazing accolade the club has received recognition at a local level, being awarded the Kent FA Charter Standard Community club of 2013,2015,2017 and 2018. As well as Sports club of 2018/19 and Junior Sports Club of 2014/15 and 16/17 at the Medway Sports awards.

We continually work daily with the local community delivering sessions at local schools, supporting Medway Council events and initiatives. This is to ensure that we can offer anyone the opportunity to participate in sport further. Currently we have 82 teams, over 1,100 playing members across girls, ladies, boys, men’s, veterans (male and female), disability (adult), walking and futsal teams, that participate each week across the Southeast.

Anchorians prides itself on the players enjoying the game and having fun! However, all participants must be able to undertake the physical aspects of playing football as well as being able to understand basic instructions and rules.
