“Medway Council Public Health Directorate commission METRO charity as part of the Sexual Health Services.
METRO currently deliver 2 programmes:
Get It – A free condom distribution service for young people aged 13-25. The scheme offers free condoms available at local community sites or alternatively, young people can order condoms and at-home testing kits from the Get It website (https://getit.org.uk/)

METRO Schools Pride Clubs Medway – A new project for 2024 working with schools in Medway to provide training and tool kits to set up and run LGBTQ+ Pride Clubs. The project aims to give LGBTQ+ pupils and students in Medway access to safer spaces free from homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying or hate crime due to sexual or gender identity. And to support LGBTQ+ young peoples’ positive identity development, social inclusion, mental health and employability.
