Service Description:
I am an independent education consultant offering support to parents/carers, Private Voluntary and Independent (PVI) pre-schools and day nurseries, schools and maintained nurseries.

I offer a bespoke service to parents, pre-schools and schools looking at what support individual children with SEND may need. This could involve some support in the home and then transition to pre-school or school.

I can offer training to settings looking at supporting staff to feel more confident when working with children with SEND.

I can support pre-schools / day nurseries and schools to audit their SEND processes and procedures in line with the Code of Practice requirements. This will identify what is working well and where the gaps may be.

I can support parents and settings with the Education Health Care Plan (EHC) process, making sure that the graduated approach has been followed and this is evidenced in the information that is submitted to make a request to the Authority for an EHC. Support offered will be tailored to the individual needs of a child.
