I am a mature married woman who enjoys working in partnership with parents in providing a high standard of childcare. It is important that children experience a warm homely environment. To ensure this I have made it one of my priorities to ensure that my childcare provision is near as possible to a natural home environment. Where children feel comfortable and secure. Children will have access to outdoor play in a clean and safe environment, all year round. Children will have the opportunity to participate in the Local Library Nursery Rhyme Sessions. They will also have links to a range of learning activities provided by Pacey Professionals via internet. Children will have a full access to the Early Years Foundation Learning Program.

There are good transport links, with a parking facility off the main road. Chatham train station and Chatham bus station are both in close facility.

Having gained a Level III certificate in Childcare and a Degree in Social Work has given me a wide knowledge of how children develop within the seven learning areas in the Early Years Curriculum. Having this knowledge enables me to offer children appropriate activities and experiences at different stages of their development. Over the years I have worked closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Co-coordinators. Having worked with children with learning and physical disabilities for several years has meant having to implement a wide variety of sensory activities to meet their individual needs.

I have gained further qualifications, such a First Aid Pediatrician and Child Protection to ensure your child is safe at all times. I will continue to up grade my skills and knowledge by further training.

I am often described as a patient, caring and committed worker. I make it my duty to work as a professional at all times. I see myself as a reliable and honest person who makes all attempts to ensure children feel supported at all times, enjoys every day and have fun.

It has always been part of my ethos to include parents as much as possible into their child's development programmer and to make parents feel reassured that their child will receive the best care possible.
