Provider details

Service Description:
Hello! My name is Viv, I live with my fiancé and my sweet young daughter. My background is in primary education, early years, pastoral care and children’s safeguarding social work. I have worked supporting children for many years and have always enjoyed seeing their growth and learning take place - I feel incredibly rewarded to see them make leaps in their development! I would describe my setting as a rich, ‘home from home’ environment for children to be welcomed into. I feel it is super important that children not only feel safe and happy in my home nursery but also feel a sense of belonging. I aim to create a space that children feel excited to come to, where they are invited to explore and have lots of opportunities to learn!

I know firsthand how daunting it can be returning to work after a period of leave or transitioning from that time at home with your little one. I understand just what it takes to be able to entrust your child into the care of a childminder, when often we have a difficult life-work decision to make or really just need some extra support as we manage our time. I hope through regular, open communication with me and visits to my setting that your mind can be put at ease – hopefully, you’ll also feel a sense of comfortability here as you explore different childcare options.

Here at Twinkly Toes, we provide both a stimulating and caring environment for young children, filled with lots of toys, books, rhyme-time, messy play, free-flow play, arts and crafts activities, indoor and outdoor play, as well as lots of visits to our local parks, nature trails, visits to libraries, farms, soft play and stay and play groups. Our visits will also support the children’s learning and understanding of their world, whether this be visiting a supermarket together before we bake a recipe or learning about the different people who help us in the community. We also provide regular updates to you throughout each day, including pictures, videos and learning snapshots. We provide hot balanced meals and healthy snacks daily. Local school drop-offs and pick-ups are also available. If you’d like to find out more, please do get in touch!
