Hello, my name is Liz and I run my childminding service under the name Liz’s Little Explorers. I am a mum with 3 children of my own aged 4 – 13 and a soon to be Husband named Joe and I understand how important it is to find the right childcare for your family.

I work from my own home, which is a non-smoking household. I am Ofsted registered and last inspected in 2022, receiving a Good rating. My commitment to you is to provide your child with a fun, loving, learning environment and keep them safe.

At Liz’s Little Explorers, I offer a wide range of play-based learning activities tailored to your child’s age and stage of development. Activities include:

- Books and puzzles
- Board games and role play
- Drawing, painting, sticking
- Play-dough, messy play (aprons provided!)
- Outdoor play and water play
- Cooking and creative crafts

Television and DVDs are used occasionally but only with suitable content and in moderation. Children are encouraged to choose their own activities throughout the day.
I have a safe garden where children can enjoy balls, toy cars, sand play and various pieces of climbing equipment, in warmer months, we often enjoy painting, water play, reading, and picnics outside.

Daily outings are a big part of our routine and may include trips to the park, local shops, or library. During school holidays, we sometimes visit castles, beaches, or parks further afield.
