Vacancy details: | We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Preschool Practitioner to join our small, friendly team. This is a key position that includes acting as Manager during the current Manager’s maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high quality early years education and care, supporting colleagues, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for all children. - Act as manager during maternity leave, overseeing day to day operations
- Support and guide colleagues to maintain high standard of practice
- Contribute to planning, organisation and continuous improvement in the setting
- Ensure the wellbeing, safety and emotional security of all children
- Promote and uphold safeguarding, child protection and health and safety policies
- Carry out administrative and management duties as required
- Act as a keyworker for a small number of children building strong and trusted relationships
- Deliver high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare in line with EYFS
- Work closely with parents and carers to meet individual children’s needs
- Monitor, record and maintain children’s progress and development using Tapestry
- Create and maintain a safe, caring and stimulating environment
