We are Medway Parents and Carers Forum (MPCF), an independent, parent-led charity representing families of children and young people (0–25) with SEND across Medway. We are a pan-disability organisation, supporting families regardless of the type or complexity of need.

We give parent carers a strong collective voice in discussions with Medway Council and local health partners. We work with education, health and social care services to improve the quality, range and accessibility of SEND support in Medway. We provide peer support through our Family Support Team, offering help with navigating SEND processes and completing forms such as DLA, PIP and Universal Credit.

We run coffee mornings, workshops, training sessions and Meet the Professional events to help families feel informed and connected. We share information, updates and signposting so families can access the right support.

We gather parent carers’ feedback and lived experiences to help shape and influence future SEND services.
